The Brand

Created in 2017, Canal Saint Martin defines itself both as a responsible, quality-centric brand, and a reflection of the boho, Parisian neighborhood it is named after.


It offers accessories infused with youth and authenticity: casual-chic sneakers and leather goods that are at home anywhere. Designed in Paris, their products are made in traditional workshops in Spain and Portugal.


The brand’s collection started with the Lancry sneaker; an unconventional, light, feminine shoe sewn onto a hybrid sole, mixing sneaker and espadrille elements. It was an instant success: that same year, Lancry sneakers were available in 100 stores in France, Japan and the US, and soon after at Galeries Lafayette.



& craftmanship

Relying on a short production circuit, the brand limits its carbon footprint at each step. Collections and delivery are also condensed as much as possible to reduce their impact on the environment. Using no plastic of any sort, the packaging is made of 80% recycled materials and is 100% recyclable. Since their inception, Canal Saint Martin has been working with the same workshops, renowned for their traditional craftmanship. The leather they use is sourced from certified & eco-responsible tanneries, making each sneaker and bag sustainable.
