It all began in the late 2000’s with a simple men's shirt, redesigned for a woman’s fit; designer Carole Petit balanced her attraction for both masculine and feminine styles by creating this one simple piece which proved to be the starting point of Diega.
10 years later, Diega has evolved to a full lifestyle collection focusing on soft silhouettes with unstructured lines. The brand has its staples, soft shoulders jackets, long flowy pants, and beautiful dresses. Their style pointedly avoids trendy of the moment pieces, instead focusing on the timeless pieces that can be worn for all occasions. Carole's belief is to bring an instant chic to a woman’s everyday life.
Sold in more than 510 stores in the world, Carole has just opened her own boutique in Paris’ Rive Gauche, a cosy spot with wooden floors, rattan furniture, and vibrant colors.
At Diega, materials are paramount. Their collections make use of natural fabrics - silk, linen, mohair wool, baby alpaca, cashmere.
The brand’s color palette is soft and muted; a little faded, aiming for a vintage look. Carole's design philosophy skews on timeless Parisian style that imbues “je ne sais quoi” French lifestyle.
